Andhra Chicken Curry is a dish belongs from southern part of India. This is a spicy dish prepared with chicken,  spices and herbs.

Chicken: 600 gms
Onion: 2 big size (finely chopped)
Ginger garlic paste: 2 tsp
Tomato: 4 (finely chopped)
Coriander powder: 4 tsp
Poppy seeds: 2 tbsp
Dried Coconut powder: 2 tbsp
Turmeric powder: 1 tsp
Red chilli powder: 1 tsp
Bay leaves: 2
Cardamom: 3-4
Cinnamon: 2
Cumin seeds: 1/2 tsp
Cloves: 4
Mint leaves: 1 cup chopped
Coriander leaves: 1 cup chopped
Curry leaves: 15-20
Lemon: 1
Salt: To taste



1. Wash the chicken and marinate it with half of turmeric powder, half of red chilli powder, ginger garlic paste and little salt for 30 mins.

2. In a grinding jar put poppy seeds, coconut powder and water, make it into fine paste. Keep it aside.
