During Ganesh pooja Modak and Laddu are offered to Ganesh Ji as these are his favorite sweets. Modak is sweet dumpling filled with coconut and jaggery. Modak are of two types fried and steamed. Steamed modak is know as Ukdiche modak. Today on this occasion of Vinayagar Chaturthi, I tried making chocolate, coconut and jaggery filled Modak.
